A hungry stranger arrives in a village where no one will share theirhoarded food. She tells them she can make stone soup and places a stonein some water to boil. Eventually the curious townspeople gather and shetells them the soup is done, but would taste even better with a carrotor an onion. One by one, the villagers add a vegetable until there'senough nourishing, tasty soup to feed everyone.
Stone Soup Group exists to sustain the health and well-being of Alaskan children with special health care needs and their families. Through listening to the stories of families, we identify areas of need and work with communities to find solutions.
