RECA's curriculum currently includes Mary Ellen Copeland's Recovery Education and Wellness Recovery Action Plan? or "the WRAP." This is a 20-hour seminar in which students learn about recovery and make plans (their Wellness Recovery Action Plan) to implement recovery concepts in their own lives. RECA's two-person faculty are mental health consumers who recently earned Advanced Level Certification from the Copeland Center for Wellness and Recovery, and are now qualified to train WRAP facilitators, as well as facilitate the Recovery Education Seminar.
RECA is a consumer-run agency and its Board of Directors is made up of at least 51% mental health consumers
